About goyo

goyo helps patients and family caregivers put their concerns about care in writing.

What goyo does

goyo writes the appeal, grievance, complaint or records request you choose, from the records you add and the facts you give it. When an office takes requests by phone or on its own form, goyo writes a script for the call or the words for the form.

Each letter names the rule it relies on and the offices that take it. That covers care in hospitals and emergency rooms, nursing homes, assisted living, rehab, home health, hospice and dialysis. The guides, the examples and the letter builders on this site can be used without an account.

What goyo does not do

goyo is not a law firm or a medical provider, and it does not give legal or medical advice. It does not file, send or sign anything for you: you read each letter, change what you like and send it yourself. It cannot promise how an office will answer.

Who it is for

Patients and the people who help them, whatever pays for the care: Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance or no insurance. goyo deals with the care, not the bill, so questions about a bill go to the billing office or your health plan.

Your records

goyo keeps the papers you add and the letters it writes until you delete them. You can delete your records and your account yourself, and Privacy and Your health data explain what is kept and who handles it.
